"I am not the kind of princess that needs saving; I am probably not even a princess at all, I am a brave warrior". That's how Lau Figueras, the new MMR ambassador, introduces herself

I am a sportswoman affected by hypothyroidism. This causes continuous changes in my body, fluctuations in weight... a small hormonal imbalance affects my daily life. But I am learning to be at peace with myself, to accept and embrace myself. For a while, it was challenging for me to show myself, but today I feel proud to do so, regardless of how others perceive me. It may seem simple, but it has been a very important personal change.

At MMR, we feel fortunate to share Lau's almost permanent smile. She embodies the best version of herself, reflecting her addiction to sports, her love for animals, and a plant-based healthy diet.

My earliest childhood memories are of riding my bike or skating around the streets of my village. Sports have always been a big part of my life. I have practiced taekwondo, swimming, volleyball, basketball, triathlon... But for the last 7 or 8 years, cycling has been my main sport and the one I have enjoyed the most. 

For me, being part of the MMR family means opening a door to new adventures, to experiences that I am sure I will collect and remember for the rest of my life, with all the love in the world.
